    the floor plate was steel so it got blued, the alloy trigger guard just got the old paint in a can treatment

    Thanks guys i think it looks pretty good, a little disappointed in the finish of the bluing on the bolt but will do for me.

    Well i went down the range today
    after loading up some 150g Nosler BTs at 46g 2208 sighted in then shot 2 3 shot groups
    The 1st one was this and the 2nd group was exactly the same, i couldnt believe what i was seeing!!!
    Here i was hoping for about 1.5-2" groups and this is what i get
    So im quite happy measured .605 Inch
    Not bad for a Old BSA
