    Clearing roots/blockages from pipes...

Just pulled this contraption through my culvert pipe, cleared it effortlessly!
Used a wire rope and pulley to make it work in a tight spot.

Hammered 8m of 40mm angle through the crap in the pipe, then pulled the wire back through before hooking up the 'thing' at the end.

Anyone who thinks they could use it is welcome to borrow it, the wire rope is not mine so thats not available sorry.Name: 20200809_160920.jpg

Good point.... I reckon another cable or chain hooked up to the other end should make it pretty safe.

It is 200mm diameter, I put it through a 215mm id pipe.
Thought about grinding an edge onto the 'thing' to help cut through roots etc but it went fine so didn't bother

How would it go for curing constipation?

I have one of these, used on water blaster, has three jets so self centres in culvert pipe, has been used on cow shed milk pipework and cleaning bore water casings...fits down a 25 mm pipe...cuts through small roots in culverts.

Best for constipation is to sit on a block of cheese and swallow a rat.

For those with smaller pipes ie the bathroom basin, toothpaste and hair can be a really bugger combined they stick like yep that to a blanket.

Drain flush would be what most people say. But if left to long it will melt your plastic pipes.

Get on can of baking soda, caustic soda (same thing) two bottles of cheap as white vinegar (don’t use your wife’s expensive cooking vinegar you might end up down the drain as well, have that t shirt)

Now pour in the whole tin of baking soda then pour in the two bottles of white vinegar..now go have a cup of tea or what ever and leave that to foam and bubble away. Then flush through with hot water. Will clear most slow and mildly blocked drains.

Yup, the rest of the bottle is a pedestal stand for a bench grinder, a very, very strong pedestal stand for a grinder.

The trades man I was working with once lost a stack of plunging rods down the drain. The cost of repairing the nfosructure that we damaged plus recovering the rods , made for a very expensive bill. Gunner has the right idea

I just scored a pile casing.... 900 diameter, just under 20mm wall thickness and about a metre long.
