    impressive stuff. @ANOTHERHUNTER is the top section of the sheath the underside of the leather folded over? really interesting colours from the brain tanning

    what sort of fish skin is it? durable?

    The handle is an old weathered bit of jarah fence pailing I found on a job. I kept the cracked outside instead of sanding it off. funny story about that knife.I posted it up on a knifemaking forum I belonged to,and said it was bear grillis grandfathers knife for a joke,but actually fooled a few people
    The top of the sheath is the folded over normal leather liner,and only the light coloured leather is thar.
    The fish skin is moki,but ive tried a few different types.they are too thin for making stuff out of, only good for inlay type stuff. my wallet has got spotted stargazer skin on it and so far it has lasted well.(couple of years in my pocket.

    So finally made an ammo wallet thingamajig thanks to @LOC who generously donated the leather for me to have a play some months back!

    nice one. looks good. did you punch holes in the top to slide the rounds in?

    Yep, used a 12mm bolt as I couldn't find my wad punches
