Nah, I get most of my stuff from artisan supplies (Gameco), good prices and fast service.
Ssm metals for my steel and occasionally USA knife maker for the odd tool - although shipping is an arm and a leg from the states.

For what it's worth I bought some Harry Potter jewellery and other bits and pieces for my girlfriend off there. Everything turned up and was OK.

Thanks guys, Etsy is a bit of an unkown to me but there's a guy in Russia doing very nice stabilized wood at very sharp prices. Might be worth a punt.

Check if there's similar stuff on Ali express. Sometimes they just resell on other sites

Could do a site like that by sourcing old broken furniture, bandsaw, and hey presto.

What Cordite said. Trademe is great for picking up broken furniture with good wood for cheap as. Easy to re-use.

I'll second Aliexpress too, a lot of good knife making bits on there at the moment, for very cheap. Good for practice.

Yep. Have purchased stabilised wood and metal stamps off several suppliers on etsy. All good and no issues.
