even with a 9.9hp fourstroke on my dads 5.7 ramco the speed you get is about walking pace
iv had my main motor (on my old boat) go into limp mode and limit the revs to fuck all
it ment that we needed to cross paua harbour bar at that walking pace in the dark
my brother near had a mental break down. but I had a plan and the boat performed beautifully so everything went smoothly

and people wonder why I love pontoon boats so much
