Sounds like you are all sorted then!

Most chinese manufacturers will want to know what the parts are intended for. You will want to be prepared to answer that question.

@ssj so has Dolphin closed? There must be parts around? I think Barnard was the agent, but that's probably no help.
I have one of their stocks and a bipod as well good bit of gear

    yes Barnard seems MIA.

I emailed Mik Dolphin and he said he had semi-retired and had not made and stocks since Dec23. He is in negotiation to sell the drawings/CAD so one may well be available at some point again.

I'll continue CADing my own one and getting the bits CNC'd. Ive done it before via China and I have not been disappointed so far.

So police permit to import. Um, long winded with lots of back and forth.

If you do want to import make sure every single part is listed which when its a prototype is hard :/

First full mock up incl joystick bipod. Barrel is only 27inches and not 32 inches as my printer wont do any longer.

Good few hours of design and printing time gone into that. Are you going to build the bipod as well?

Hi, yes I have some spare time over winter.

The lower part excl the joystick "block" is being CNC'd for me at present. Not sure about the joystick block as yet as there is a lot of moment in that vertical distance. So I am wondering on a mk2.

The May action & barrel wont be with me until September, so maybe Xmas if I am lucky.

My one comment about the stock design is that cheekpiece appears to be a bit far back. How does it feel laying behind it?

Yes, it is a bit far back but the scope can come back quite a way 30~40mm. From using the Millenium to remove the bolt the cheekpiece has to be removed first which is annoying, I am trying to avoid that as the bolt has to come out every time you exit the mound and then you have to reset it when you get back on. I can also extend the cheek rest forward.

Yeh, that's why some TR rifles have hinged cheekpieces that flip out of the way. The other alternative is to slot the front part of the cheekpiece just enough to allow the bolt fully back. My old McMillan with the Millennium in it was modified like that to avoid having to lift the cheekpiece out.

It could have a hollow in it so the bolt goes up into it then forward into the breech (once more dear friends).

You can always ask mate. I do one offs. Depending on length of your parts I may be limited on my machine.
