    Gloss Black Cerakoting

    Hi Guys.

I have an older rifle that the bluing is wearing off. I want to restore it but i'm going to go the way of cerakoting it as i want a more durable finish. But still want to get the highest 'gloss black' possible.

Anyone had this done and any recommendations of companies to use?

    Cheers

    Rich

"Greystone Guns" in Christchurch specialise in what your wanting.

I can't speak from experience but I have seen their work at the Sika Show and it looked great as i was wanting to do the exact same as what your wanting to do.

I think the colour you might be after is "midnight blue" which resembles the original blue but Greystone will be able to advise.

I love the job Craig - @doubleshot did on my (like me antique) shot gun barrels well worth a chat Rich and just over the hill in Tauranga from you....

Mine was midnight blue colour... too.

It's obviously a very light gun...
