    Picked up a suzuki 125cc 2-stroke motor. Should be a good power plant for this kart, all be it slightly larger than I initially was thinking.

    Working from front to rear, trying to fix the "bodjyness".

    The steering boss had multiple holes drilled in it. None of which were evenly spaced. My OCD kicked in big tme as I would rather slit my own wrists, than force my eyes to look at an uneven pcd

    So:



    Shitting up the holes with a mig welder.

    Then into the lathe to true it all up...



    Offering it up to the kart for a test fit.



    The original steering wheel was absolutely stuffed. I picked up this beauty for $10. In a car it would look like $10 not very well spent, but on a gokart I think I can just about pull it off???? And hey, the fake carbon fibre should add at least 5hp
