    The other mod I've done is to fit a single stage trigger from an older howa 270 i use to own to my mini. I also fitted a Gun Bloke 1.5 lb spring to that trigger. Required some easy fitting in terms of removing plastic to fit trigger and some filing to allow the safety to fit inside the stock . Really nice single stage trigger now and it feels very similar to the timney on my Howa 1500 .308. Not at all necessaryof course, as the two stage trigger is actually pretty decent...I just happened to have this lying around. .

    Was thinking the same as I was reading this thread. I contacted home a month or two ago, and think he might currently be pretty busy being a dad...

    The inevitable crack in my plastic guard is slowly growing, so might have to offer to pay for a babysitter to give him some time in the workshop!

    very slowly.. have a 5 week old and a 2.5yr old. things are a little hectic
