I know sweet FA about paint.
I have a Boyds pepper laminated AT-One stock here that looks pretty shit (too bling) but works very well. I find the lacquer coating too slippery and I would prefer it to be a mono colour as well.
Stripping the lacquer is easy, but selecting the right paint isn't, for me at least. Kind of thing I can screw up. Can any of you paint experts please recommend a grippy black matt paint, maybe one with some form of granular texture?
I have a new-to-me Boyds on the CZ 455 I acquired recently, its matt black with a very handy, grippy finish. No idea what the paint is.
