@Von Gruff Knives what a great display of craftsmanship! I can appreciate the investment of time and patience, being part way into my first ‘scratch built’ walnut stock.
It is the paitence that is the hardest quality to bring to the table as we all have a tendency to want it done NOW. There is absolutely nothing quite like the reward in satisfaction of hunting with an self made rifle or any other persuit for that matter where we have made/built at least one of if not the main component in the activity.
You’ve got some awesome skills @Von Gruff Knives really impressive with fantastic results for you and your clients. Between seeing your work and seeing some of Laurie Bradley’s stock work firsthand it makes a bloke think of getting something done for himself.

Very nice stockwork!
Are you still doing these? I would like to restore a Newton First Model, the stock is in poor condition with a large split.. may not be repairable. Is this something you would look at?
Lovely work, well done.
Well done mate. Some great skills and talent showing.
Always happy to look at any project. vongruff@gmail.com and we can go through the possibilities.
