    What height Talleys did you use ? You could easily get away with lower if you needed it

    Extra low talleys also work nicely with that scope 😉

    Do ya reckon it makes much difference having the scope a few mm lower ?

    depends on ya cheek weld, but I have found the lower the better. if it's comfortable and you have no issues getting good eye relief don't mess with it

    I have extra low Talleys on my Tikka with a 40mm scope. 1-2mm clearance. Not saying anyone else should do the same, but it works for me.

    I had a rail and Warne rings like you on my tikka. I changed to extra low talleys and found the eye relief way more forgiving on my z5
