    Also if you want thicken the epoxy add aerosil.(fumed silica but wear a mask that shit is bad on your lungs)

    I use the stuff they put in concrete.
    I have quit a bit here you can have but may take a week to get to you.

    I've got a jar of black oxide at work. I'm going to try and shake what I can out of my chalk line tomorrow otherwise I'll be going with the candle black. Been doing the prep on the stock and rifle this arvo so she's getting the epoxy in tomorrow.

    A few lessons learnt.
    1- bluetack is a shit substitute for plasticine
    2- makesure you go over board blanking off around the magazine well.
    3- At least you can file/grind any compound that misbehaved
    4- release agents are good.
