my two cents worth it does not matter to the deer if hit with 130 150 or 165 grain you need to learn how to find them first - if you dont actually hunt and just target shoot ignore and play to your hearts content

I really like the 130 Speer hp.
That said, what Barry said is right. 130-165 all work. After that, the amax/eldm are great if you want a little more distance.

The scenar 155 is amazing, but hard to get.
