Thread: 6.5mm 143gr ELDX swap for 147gr ELDM

I have a part box of 42x 143gr ELDX 6.5mm projectiles, swap or part trade for the 147gr ELDMs. Happy to buy part boxes too of 147gr that didnt shoot for you.

I also have 60 or 70 123gr Amax's and a full box of 130gr Berger VLD hunting if that floats your boat.

I am interested to hear (if you would go into your thinking) why you seem to move towards 147gr ELD-M’s?

My reason for asking - I am shooting 6.5 Creedmoor, using 143 ELD-X’s for hunting and competition shooting. Quite happy with the performance, but I am sitting for a while with this itch to possibly move to 147gr ELD-M’s. Better BC, more range and less drift.

Yes all of those reasons you listed and the simple fact that my barrel shoots them better than the 143gr ELDX.
