Well when i run out of the handful of 340gr Woodleigh's I have from years ago, I was going to try some of the 350gr Speer mag tips.
Without looking to hard, they have them at Reloaders for 72 bucks for 50. That is pretty indicative of them generally, although i just looked on Gunwork's site and they are 90 bucks. This is one of the cheapest 416 projectiles out there and they seem to get positive write ups in the US when used on elk, deer and the odd bear.
workshop innovation have them for 55 bucks a packet if i have my maths right which is really good. I should just buy a box for shitz and gigs myself.
The Barnes which are in the lighter range are quite a bit dearer and everything else is 400 grainers. Unless you were shooting large cranky cattle beasts i would touch them.
Back when i got the old girl the cheapest projectile was the Hornady 400gr soft point. Don't think they do them anymore. Its either DGS or DGS-expanding or solids respectively along with some 500gr match bullets which have a bc nudging a thousy.

I have a casting mold for the 416 projectiles. They come out at about 400gr. I have the gas checks also.
I have a box of the DGX projectiles which I might keep just in case I ever refit the 416 barrel to an action.
A friend does all my casting, he could cast some if wanted.
I could ask a price if wanted.
Flick me a PM if interested.
