Mine's all done now. Thanks for those bullet points folks...I used a few of them but put into my own words.

The license wouldn’t include P magazine endorsement so restricted to 10 rounds. They would need a medical certificate similar to the ones in Australia that allow medical endorsement for using semi auto shotguns for clay shooting.

    Thoughts on something like this?
Better to word that as the current law disadvantages the disabled.

Whether you’re crippled or not isn’t a desirable licensing threshold.

Now becoming less recent, but this was my favourite real world example of a register being misused:

22 March 2022 - Western Australia Police release anonymised maps (example 1, example 2) of firearm owner addresses to the media to support their call for more restrictive firearm legislation. (Link)

25 March 2022 - WA Firearm owners demand apology for anonymised maps being too easy to figure out. WA Police accuse them of fearmongering. (Link)

27 May 2022 - Violent home invasion in Perth, man doused in methylated spirits and forced to give up combination to firearm safe, is lit on fire anyway. (Link)

15 July 2022 - Software engineers demonstrate the maps can be used to locate addresses of firearm owners. WA Police accuse them of fearmongering. (https://www.watoday.com.au/national/fresh-concerns-over-gun-safety-after-duo-pinpoint-registered-perth-firearm-houses-20220714-p5b1rr.html]Link)

5 February 2024 - Senior WA Police staff inadvertently admits maps released in 2022 posed a serious safety concern particularly for isolated addresses, and may have increased home invasions, theft, and firearm related crime. (Link)

Cheers for the points, the combo of this and the Colfo document made the process much easier - now I've retained my right to grumble

Did a full court press this afternoon. Submission completed.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
