and as for powder, this below came from Steves wholesale latest email to dealers.

ADI is expecting late next year to have most powders ready including Trail Boss, APS350, APS650, AR2206H., BM8208, and AR2205.
We may also have another opportunity to ship some rifle powders over in April 2024, but this will not include the above powders.

Whoops. What if you only see life through a black and white lens though?

About powder. If 2206H doesn't turn up again for 12 months its going to hurt.

Ive got that big pot of CFE223 from you if I get desperate although I haven't found it all that good in .223.

I have some CFE223 on standby intending to use it in 223. Interested to hear how you found it lacking?
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Not as accurate or fast compared to 2206H. 55 grn through to 77 grn. Best fit seems to be 27 grns and 60 grain bullet.

The shortage of components and cost is driven by a bunch of things but here is another factor to add to the mix, Skip to 7 minutes In the video if you are not too interested in the 22 arc.

A little insight to why powder and primers may get more expensive and hard to get very soon

Interesting how in article mentions how heaps of people have big stashes in USA though. There will be plenty of people here like that also. I go through phases of calibres that just fall out of my personal flavour to no longer shoot. Have heaps of consumables for or even factory ammo. Like 223 & 308 just haven't been using for years, but could last for ages if needed to. Primers is probably the weak link if you ain't got those.
