Yup @Martin358.....I dont think you’ll find one person here on the forum, and for that matter within the Police,Govt, and the public ,that won’t subscribe to the fact that the Police, then and now, are in their “infancy”when it comes to the use and arming of New Zealand police.

The number of articles produced here, depicting the complete lack of effort by the Govt/Police,is alarming, and if your going to go down the road of arming Police, then a plethora of things need to be in place for that to happen, its obvious they are not,and that in itself is nothing but dangerous @Tussock makes some very good points and arguments about guns, weapons etc,I get that, but I also get that a well trained ,well armed, police force has to be that, but to get there they have to have complete support.

It seems, that the “armed” NZ police is nothing short of a joke, you either have very well trained members who go through rigorous training(swat) and often,or you have a half-arsed gun toting cops who,by the info provided on this forum, are no where near the standards required to be Packing heat. The removal, stealing, confiscation of as many guns as possible in kiwi,is the easiest way to take the police out of harms way,as they are so ill-equipped to deal with most “real”situations

@A330driver agreed. Not saying anything can't be done, I am just aware of how hard these things are in real life. And I 110% agree, the only solution to the difficulty of real life is drill, drill, drill, train train train.

There is an Eskrimador somewhere around here and if I can find him I'm going to get way better with a stick
