Its ok Im sure he will sell them back to the government at the next southland confiscation event as it is a buy back right? These will be the only firearms actually "bought back" as they actually previously owned them. Or did they? We as tax payers paid for them, does that mean we own?them? Im confused.
Either way I feel so much safer now. Dont you?

Dunno, but overall it did a good job of it, according to the local superintendent.

Well they were our,s but then they were there's but now they are Hori,s , Hori doesn't have a firearms licence so the cops don't want them included in the buy back I guess technically and officially there still Hori,s ....TO BE CONTINUED

Well maybe just one Glock seeing as the idiot has been arrested and a Glock recovered.

Only if the thief has a FAL. You can't get money back for firearms you hand in if you don't have an FAL. This govt doesn't understand the concept of incentives to ACTUALLY make us all safer. They only seem to want to take firearms of legal owners.

oih dear .Ishou,ld imagine the ardent police fans of new firearms law would never have thought in a million years how it could be used to highlight their own bumbling inadequacies as we see here.yes we all used to ask why and roll our eyfes when wee weapons cockups happened with our bloys in blue(serious another issue altogether) but now with likes of chris cahoilland co screaming long and loudabout us "crims"its coming back tpo bite them on the arse.

Still haven't heard Police Minister Stuart Nash seeking further reassurances about Police ability to store guns safely.

Obviously reason they decided they must pre-bend guns at theft events.

They've only been tasked with managing the firearms regime in NZ for like, ever. If this is the best they can do perhaps it's time to try another agency and leave Police to Police...

Gangs tend to run around with sawn off shotguns and .22's... wonder where they get those from?
