    @scotty I'm not waiting for a new license, I got mine over a year ago, and all I've done is taken a picture with my thumb covering the fal number at the bottom, just for proof that it's happened.

    think your doin it right going to the AO first if your not satisfied i dont think i would bother with the journos it wont suit their agenda so would get buried they wont want the truth to get in the way.
    maybe a sympathetic MP (good luck with that) or someone or some organisation that can actually get heard

    police obviously incompetent.

    remove Mountain safety officers who were working for free to help safety (including myself)

    Couldn't agree more. Not unknown to happen on a driver licence and passport too. You'd think that some of the posters on here are perfect individuals who've never made a mistake in their life.
