I could be wrong but it looked to me as a"GET THE FUCK BACK OR I WILL FUCKIN SHOOT YOU CUNT!" push back the distractor tactic.

High risk but highly effective training I would think. (from a total civi)

I retract my earlier statement, it appears that I am incorrect and that Alpha group is indeed a counter-terrorism unit of the FSB. The organisation structure suggests to me that FSB has their own Spetnaz (special purpose) elements, as do the other conventional arms of service, rather than the Spetnaz being an elite unit solely on their own.

The thing that I found particularly strange was the exchange where the one guy takes rounds to the chest and then has to return fire, not at the person who shot him but into the head of the target standing next to him. I guess what we saw was only a slight taste of what they really get up to.

There is nothing new here with confidence drill's that I can see ,the shooting at the ground is a fuck of warning shot not an accident .Most high end special forces practice confidence drills but I doubt anyone other than the Russians do the three tap into the heart man that is fucking insane practice lol.

I certainly wouldn't challenge any of them to a duelling match.

a good proportion of what they were doing could have been done with paint marking bullets rather than live ammo
seems like a good way to accidentally shoot your mate/colleague
live ammo fuck ups are hard to come back from
