    Safe near hot water cylinder

    Hey guys

Would there be any negative implications for my guns if they were stored in the same room as this bad boy? Or am I being paranoid?Name: cyl.jpg

Same room storage I'd say no.

    Looks pretty well insulated.

I'd insulate your pipes too.... save you money that way.

    Cheers

Not at all as long as they stored in accordance to firearms laws . Be nice and dry . Edit . I still can't see anything wrong , bare pipes look like tempering valve to me so are adding cold water . Not a plumber but that's what looks like to me

That's where people stashed their Toz and .303 in the good days.

Excellent place to put a gun safe. Mine has the water pipes from the stove to cylinder behind it. Perfect for putting wet or damp rifles in, they are dry by next morning. Then they just require a wipe with an oily rag and a pull through and are ready to go for the next adventure.

Similarly, I store my reloading dies in the hot water cupboard.
