I have put one of those brackets as linked in our caravan, it takes a standard size padlock. Mine has been signed off by the arms officer.

Battery powered angle grinder will go through it like shit through a goose.NZ police need reminding of this as reality is your security measures are desugned to impede theives progress more than anything these days.next time they inspect me Im gonna label my safes home dentention cause thats allf/a crime seemas to merit these days unless of course youre a long suffering FAL, BTWbuilding regulations expressly forbid anything being attached to walls intended for purposes of fire protection as i found out.wonder if the new amazing firearms outfit is aware of that wee gem!
PS-the majority of my collection also have gunlocks just cause i like keys>
My bolt action has the bolt stored seperatly but my single shot is stored with a trigger lock in the safe until we move then both will be in a rack.
Got eye bolt today. This is solid, more than required and I save 40 dollars by souring it else where.

End of the day I thinknspend the best money you can afford to get the best security. These days as other Said a battery angle grinder will cut thru anything. That said of they really want it they will take it.leave a note ..all bolts removed and firing pins .firearms are useless. It's a shame we need to gw to extent to secure our firearms from criminals ..and if we don't we become one ourself for breaking the firearms act .
