And if you sell a firearm you are not allowed to edit your own registration you have to phone them, so what's the point of it all if you can't do any edits.

Just discovered this today when I became a verified user and found the mistakes they have made on my registered items and to add insult to injury there is a glitch when I tried to check all my items were accurately recorded after I found two mistakes on the first, once I moved on from the first page the items become jumbled and you cannot print a list without double ups and the more I flick through the pages the more jumbled it became.
The response from the team at Kapiti was “I thought we had fixed that ? “
Did not fill me with confidence

Legitimate Question - Have you all had a "Trigger" event or are some entering the Register Voluntarily. ?????

FSA doesn't recognise my license details.
Over phone person can see it is all correct and tells me what to enter
    But no joy
FSA IT support were supposed to make contact within 10 days and sort it
    Hasn't happened

I am likely too do the unthinkable and buy a firearm next weekend !
It would certainly be reassuring too have at least been able too get past first base with registration

Has anyone else not had the FSA system recognise their details and how were you able too get through the problem ??

I fully expect a long slow process beyond this first hurdle because I only own a few modern firearms that their data base will recognise.
After that it's makes, models, types and calibers they will not have a clue about

I’m actually not against the registration, although like most I have my doubts about the ability to keep data secure.
I haven’t. Don’t tend to buy a lot of firearms, and have enough reloading components to last more than a few years at the rate I pull the trigger.

I’m waiting until the election, on the off chance Seymour gets his way..

I think there will still be a registration in some form, we have signed something with the un regarding small arms trade or something along those lines. Id like to see what it is in its final form first...

Sounds like they got a lot further than first base, you should be walking funny.

My partner had the same issue, they did get in contact with her. Apparently a known issue and they had to fix something their end, then she had to use Google chrome to get in.
