I have just this morning registered all of the firearms in my possession as I have applied for a permit to possess and knew that was going to be an activating circumstance so decided to bite the bullet and I had my youngest home so she could help an old technophobe. Initially I couldn’t get in because RealMe needed some second level of authentication that wasn’t available so I had to call them to fix that up. Then there were five firearms among what I have that I was not initially able to register. Four (all the same type of single action revolver) were because the model was not found when I entered the manufacturer (make) and one (a side by side 12guage) was because the (Spanish) manufacturer was not in the system at all. So I had to call the registry and get them to help. The four revolvers were sorted pretty quickly and I was able to get them registered while the fellah was resolving the shotgun. In the end he created the manufacturer in the system and registered the shotgun for me. In summary it took quite a while and there was a degree of faffing about but we got there in the end. I would add that if my daughter was not here I would have become very frustrated and likely would have given up at the RealMe hiccup stage.
