Found PGG weren't into filling any low-cost gap.

Nah, at this point I'll just get a slab from Hamill's Te Awamutu and keep an eye out for better deals that might come up in the future.

Christ, how hard can it be for ammo supplies in NZ when Falcon is here...?
Grouchy Smurf had it right all along...

Speaking with them today they don't get support from more than one of the large retailers, maybe they won't supply with little remuneration to the wholesaler, only surmising.

Which is why I mentioned doing a bulk order earlier.
I wish there were enough ducks around where I go that this kind of volume made sense! Often don't get completely through a single 25rd box during a season. I'd still grab a couple of slabs if this did get organized but I won't be taking the lead on it.

Just to add, don’t bother with the 3” stuff, better off with the cheaper 35 gram 2 3/4” doing the same speed and only 5-7 pellets less than the 36 gram 3” magnums. Can’t really understand the reasoning for even making them.

3" version does the same as the 2-3/4" version with less pressure. I've read that less pressure can result in better patterns - perhaps slightly less recoil also?

But that's part of the reason I like those Falcon Ultrasteel - I can get performance equivalent to almost any other manufacturers 3" shell out of my 2-3/4" chambered gun. Seems to pattern fine for me as well.

My pattern improved using the 36gm 3" by about 20 more pallets in the circle than the 2 3/4" 35gm. More consistent as well, less gaps in the spread

Yep, got a slab from Hamill's in Te Awamutu before the season. So far I've fired about half of a single box Maybe a bit more action this weekend if I'm lucky.
