yeh I've got a Maxcu. Had now for about 3 years. Love it! I've shot heaps of different size shot through it. From heavy swan load to really little quail load. I clay target shoot a couple of times a month as well.Had no issues what so ever. Just remember to keep it clean. I guess like all autos! You will notice a blacken mark devoples on top of the magazine tube where the gas gets discharged. There can be hard to clean off. Nothing a little elbow grease and a steely can't fix!
A mates had one for a few years now, great shotgun! Has had zero issues with it and it cycles target loads well too. Nice and light anf points well, I'd recommend to anyone looking...
I'm heading into my fourth season with one plus assorted rabbit, hare and wallaby shooting .
Never kept a Urika or M2 that long and have no intention of quitting the Maxus.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Must say am interested in the Maxus's cousin the new A5.
Not that I need a new shotgun (YES YES I know silly statement!!)
Thanks for the replys. Next question. Benilli m2 or browning maxus?
Maxus for me, never liked my M1 or M2, but hey, I could be bias.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Between Benelli and the Browning? BENELLI all the way and Cordoba or Supersport if you can
I have a Browning Maxus synthetic and I really like it. Here is why:
1-great fit. Comes with spacers for LOP and shims for drop at comb.
2- it is a pure joy to use afield....light, the duratouch finish is great when damp.
3-its a damn shooting machine.....low muzzle jump its back bored and it kills birds and ducks
4-speed load is superb and have killed much game utilizing the speed load
5-recoil is soft.....really appreciated at age 64.
6-killer reliability
7-very easy to break down and clean
I really liked the feature on the Maxus where 1 button loads a round from the magazine.
Other than that I preferred everything else about the M2, particularly the ease of cleaning - so I got an M2. I'm a Browning fan too.
