    Sulun TAC-12

took out my Sulun Tac-12 (benelli m4 clone) with 14'' barrel to the paddock yesterday: damned thing cycled everything i fed it! even a 1.75 inch Aquilla mini shell. Nice to finally have a shotgun that cycles with light loads and doesn't beat me.
now it's got me thinking.....anyone have a recipe for a 2.75 inch 24gr buckshot or slug load? less pain on my shoulder and more on the rabbits!

    Does the 14” model hold 5 + 1, 2.75” shells?
Certainly looks like a nice shotty.

Buckshot for rabbits? Must be big in Otago! We mostly use 3/4

You could put 10 x no1 buck in a shell

lots of rabbits here. i could use a .22 and get close or use a 12ga and be a bit farther away.....before i used my E-cat .223 with suppessor and i could be 75 yards away and just pick them off.....with current laws i have to get close and use a red dot.

out in the field i may see rabbit, magpie or pig. nice to have something to handle everything. nothing worse than having to spend time ejecting.

Iv always wanted an m4 but it's always been outside of what I can afford so I look forward to seeing these saturate the second hand market
Be my dream shotgun if it was stainless

stainless would be impressive but they have a chrome lined bore so rust shouldn't be a problem

I bought one of these the other week and the first time out with it did not go as well as I hoped

It would not cycle any of the light factory 12 gauge ammo that I got for it, 7/8 and 1oz, looks like I need something hotter to get it to run

I will not assure you this will sort it but having shot Berettas for over 30 years was taught to shoot about 100 rounds of as heavy a load as i could get to run it in. Supposedly after that you could run just about anything.

Worked for a 391 Extrema for me and after that would take anything.

    Maybe worth a try.

Thinking seriously about pulling the trigger (pun intended) on one of these, Anyone have a few hundred rounds through one yet to give a satisfaction and reliability score?

I have one of these "evil black guns" and am not yet through the first box of a slab of Rio 42 gr # 3. Got rained out at the range and have yet to go back there, but I did find it grouped nicely with slugs at 50 m.
