Thread: What's it worth, MacNaughton sxs 12g

I have this shotgun in my safe that does not get used anymore, thinking of flicking it on
MacNaughton 12g sxs with case.
Was the #1 gun of a pair but alas the #2 was destroyed decades ago.
It shows the wear of a gun that has been used but I am unwilling to do any restoration work on it in case it devalues the gun.

Does anyone have an inkling of the value, and possibly the best place to sell?
I appreciate that without a close inspection that values might be wildly inaccurate but any advice is appreciated

$300.00 as a shooter maybe up to $1200.00 for a collector its a quality gun but 2.5'' chambers put a lot of people off. put it on trade me for what you think its worth and see if you get any takers

But with a suitable reserve, I've seen many guns sold very cheap if there's no one there interested in them?
