Good hunt with a top bloke and a top dog . 5 hens where pointed and flushed and only two cocks where to be sprung but no shots on for us . I got what I I came to see , a solid dog on point ! Very enjoyable We try again tomorrow ,

What a trip , firstly @Barefoot thanks for your Generosity of letting us shoot your block and getting this weekend started , it's really appreciated . @ upnorth uplander what a legend , hunted me all day Saturday ,then worked to 1am , somehow got up at 3 to be wisking me away down to the bay of plenty by 8am ! even roundabouts didn't slow the uplander express . Big thanks to pointer for taking the time also, to get me on to birds . Was a pleasure to watch two very good dogs work .. @Twoshotkill thanks for dropping in was nice to meet you too.
Will post some photos up in a day or two . Thanks again guys ,really meant a lot to me .
