Origin
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
What a precious bunch we all are.....the person who has never shot poorly, is the person who has never fired a gun......and the person who has never experienced a little blood-lust, is the person who has never shot game.
Operate within the Regulations and be judged by no-one!
that is very true true gqhoon and some things as beginner we are all guilty of to a degree either by action or just the want to shoot more game !!! but then we are talking really of a mind set that wont learn and develop past the initial blood lust on to be sensible and good example. As a legal shooter you could kill at least 336 birds in some areas -3 per day . But would you even if you could, I know id be looking for a new game to play
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
It's irrelevant. It is nobody's business but the person's involved.
If your "only understanding" is the rule of law you are correct ..........
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
Nah, my 'understanding' is that different people choose to enjoy their Sport in many different ways. I would be a complete wanker to judge them for doing as they enjoy, simply because I choose to partake in it differently. That's all.
yes you wouldn't want be thought of as a wanker for disagreeing with others ... i don't mind myself and i wouldn't let it stop me voicing an opinion to make a difference if i could by making others think about it ... were just different people with different opinions
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
We also have different 'drivers' and / or constraints....whether that be time, property access, hunting opportunity, equipment, finances etc which all influences how we each partake in our Sport.
yes true but it doesn't alter the fact of "why" we shoot more than we need .We are not speaking of driven shooting of course GQhoon which is different in many respects of course and has no interest to me at all other than seeing those fine tweeds you hate wearing so much lol![]()
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
Who says the person in question shoots more than he needs? How do you know what his personal circumstances are and how many birds he can utilize?
Just because he chooses to shoot more than someone else, does not mean he should be criticized for it.
This thread is turning into 'disrespecting the pheasant hunter'!
Prove that hes not utilizing the birds hes shot, then you can call it slaughter
