Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
it was a straight question not an attack --eg- trials-hunting-professional work-the ways are many and all are being used by the current crop i know
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
Just sayin...take it for what it's worth
2-3yrs old.
Just because they are imported does not make them great dogs. They are being watched to demonstrate that they are doing what they can and should be able to do. Regarding standard, most of those involved have done far far more trialing/dog work than you or i.
Dogs:
Vårhaugens Gus
Frozen Woody straws Ch. Chywoon Entrepreneur of Jonsmae
Frozen straws Gameridge Elysian i think. 100% Sharnberry
Northstream and Blackfield dogs.
The only dogs trialing are Ian's that I know .James F is doing pro DOC work with Kiwi's -spoke to him and had a great chat a few days ago-he is still bringing on his imported bitch ,wait and see but in saying that his work needs a slower paced animal .
Gus , not doing anything except hunting I think -I don't know the guy personally but have spoken together .Skids hunting with you so you would know his dogs
I don't really know to many more though that are proving there stuff and when I say that I mean for all to see which generally means you would need to be trialing or hunting with someone .
I just got off the phone to the UK trying to organize a cheaper transport rate -figures crossed .
Also got off the phone to the breeder over there .He was saying he has several dogs in his kennels and after a year he knows if they stay or go and none go more than 6 years there before being passed onto friends to make room for the next lot .

EL B, Ill throw this back at you, what has your dog done to prove its worth being a sire, apart from 1 week up north with me( 7 yrs ago), who else has seen your dog work.
I haven't decided if he will be until he proves him self more at trials

In fact when we breed it will be to the best working dog with a good lines we can find,,that would be the smart thing to do

You have been to one trial EL. Ian is the only one trialing this year. The others have been involved in trialing for years, but yes they are not trialing now due to factors ie location and work.....
cmore I would like to hook up soon if your keen and run the dogs, had a good session with RCGSP today-thanks
