    almost as good just ''pointers". as in english PROPER . If the black and white one looks like a gsp its because black gsps are a cross between the two breeds . (like years and years ago )
    have to say it if i didnt need the versatility of a gsp i might be in
    that black pup has character written all over his pudgy little face.

    mines a little cramped up and sore after some freezing crappy but steller blind retrieve work this avo.

    everyday she picks up any loose object she can find and takes them back to the wheelbarrow. Carries anything she can around with her. She has been the demise of at least two pair of my socks, never to be seen again

    If the wife would let me spend money on a dog I'd get one. But after the last pure bred dog died, she won't let me spend any more. Which is a pity as my main dog is coming to the end of his career.

    Both of mine do it, I think it's an individual thing. A bit like GSPs I guess, some are stronger than others. I wouldn't use a pointer if I exclusively shot big rough water, but for the ponds and creeks I shoot they are fine.
    Certain NZ lines are pretty strong in water, a product of being here a while and used in NZ conditions

    thats possibly my only other reservation is having a bitch without proper lock and key kennelling in this neck of the woods.
