Thank you all so much for your thoughts...it is absolutely devastating. I could not have gotten through the last heinous days without the overwhelming support and kindness of everyone which I shall never forget. We buried him some 100 metres from the first run he had on the trial grounds braced with the lovely pointer Fern, and te Ferrari had brought along some port and glasses and we stood there and toasted The Flying Squirrel which he had been named over the Autumn wild game trials. As someone said I shall keep him kennelled in my heart forever.

Sad to hear of you loss EeBees, It's always sad to loose to ya mates, especially when you spend so much time with them. Nearly lost my little dog Tilly to poison in the weekend, it was touch and go. She came thru $670.00 later but glad to still have her.

the time they have with us is limited as it is, to have that time cut short is just a rip off.

Thank you again, Everyone, for your wonderful support...it has been a rough week but I keep reminding myself of how lucky I was to have had a dog like the boy...it all makes me even more determined for the breed.
    Thank you.
