    I don't know about standard as many are different in how they react around a bird -mine does caution up so is easy to read .Some may run in head high others track that ground scent -Inti on this occasion appeared to have air scent then had to go to ground to follow the bird quite some ways.Both videos the was a bird produced although hte second one we were on the other side of the wind when the bird got up -a little to close for my liking and that is something I want to work on -the dog getting in to close

    I found your comment re whether there was a bird or not interesting...if the Breton is doing a coulé (roading in as in the instance depicted) there is no doubt that there is a bird.

    EB was that actually on the video as I don't have sound and if I was making a commentary I haven't heard it.The problem with where we walk is that we walk there to exercise all the time -lots of people .dog and birds go through the area and a dog that is used to the area can often false point due to realistic expectation of a bird being about especially if some fresh scent is about .I hope you enjoyed the clips .

    Only trampled by the hoards that mass at the sothern end. I remember when it wasnt like that and i saw a 10 bird rise - that was then,,,,
