I doubt it would be very bad at all, whats the story with UK imports and rabies? nine months?
I couldn't even sell that to afford a new setter OMG what will they think in England
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
what would an English import cost less animal purchase?

An adult dog was around 4500 for shipping and 1400 for 10 day quarantine. I presume a pup would be a fair bit less expensive on the shipping part.
how do you find out all you need to know about this process and relative costs

Hell if I know, contact a shipping agent. They are happy to provide quotes.
Ah you edited on me you bastard.
Contact a shipping agent. The MAF website has the requirements but it looks like a lot of crap but it's really not that bad, particularly from the UK. A good shipping company will help you sort it all out easily.
i will ask one tomorrow just to understand costs associated

Well if they charge by the pound you'll be in good shape
who did you use here?

Used Golden Arrow from the UK, they were great. Petair from Germany, they were useless.
So if there s no rabies, then the wait for a pup out of the UK would be much shorter? No excuse now El B
I just had a look and it seems the UK has lost it's rabies free status.
