    No rabies in the UK.

It's 3 months from countries where rabies is present ie the US, continental Europe etc.

An adult dog was around 4500 for shipping and 1400 for 10 day quarantine. I presume a pup would be a fair bit less expensive on the shipping part.

Hell if I know, contact a shipping agent. They are happy to provide quotes.

Ah you edited on me you bastard.

Contact a shipping agent. The MAF website has the requirements but it looks like a lot of crap but it's really not that bad, particularly from the UK. A good shipping company will help you sort it all out easily.

Used Golden Arrow from the UK, they were great. Petair from Germany, they were useless.

So if there s no rabies, then the wait for a pup out of the UK would be much shorter? No excuse now El B

    rules changed yes.

earliest you can get a dog out now is 9 mths, and you would have to buy the pup and have it micro chipped and a rabies vacc's bang on 3 mths old.................... for an adult dog it is 3 months so long as it had it rabies and chip done at 3 mths and vet records of boosters...... being the uk not many breeders vacc for rabies so a 6 mth wait is more than likely.

add in board plus vet expenses any travel time and the costs can quickly add up.
i got a quote to move my new bitch up to the cumbrian grouse moors from 4 hours away and it was 440 pounds for example.
