Before he was famous I spent 3 or 4 days in the Oamaru hut with him and some mates, seemed like a decent, genuine guy.

This price rise has been signaled for a while. I bough the whole thing as few months back for that reason, ironically I then didn't get the dog I'd planned to get.
If my work annoys me, I cull them

I even lost the R&R magazine
Think it was 1992 or 93 year I submitted it

Did a talk at local NZDA after it came out - by request of President
They all went a little somber when I said I only shot about 30 Deer over her the 1st year of all for profit

So - I have no digital copy either - was all hard copy back then
Maybe its there now in digital format in achieves ???

The sheep belonged to someone close to me and he had no right being anywhere near them. And should have known better.
If I had a rifle on board he would have gone home with two less dogs.
Talks it up but doesn't tell the whole story.
The dogs are doing what their boss is telling them to do, and dogs are better than people. Figure out the subtext for yourself.

First of all guys there's 100 different ways to train a dog. To put it into a video series so that people relate and get results isn't easy I know Paul quite well. And in fact own one of his early trained dogs. In addition from being around/talking with him over the years has simplified my training techniques. I also use some of these on farm dogs etc.

As for the blue print I have never watched it but I have a fair idea of what's in it as I have hunted/finished Indy over the last 3 or so years. This is what I tell people when they ask me to train a dog for them. Is go buy the ddtbp spend the money that $700usd or whatever it is will be the cheapest money u spend to train a deer dog. If u follow it u will have a bomb proof dog. U get 10+yrs of a dog that if has the drive will be a beast in the scrub.

Last but not least me personally I have nothing against any other forms of training in fact I believe u can always pick stuff up off other trainers to make your own method better that dosn't make u a thief or any less of a trainer. makes you a smarter trainer why work harder than u have to??? Paul is a down to earth fella I hardly believe he would have said some of these things on the phone that I have read about here.

I bumped into a few people who he worked with who had a few stories. They were somewhat dark on the way he's marketed the programme claiming it was his invention when the knowledge was actually passed onto him. Their not annoyed he's made it into a product, their just annoyed he's talked himself up and lied about what he's done and where he learnt the knowledge from!

Ironically I even bumped into his father who confirmed what I was told and I bumped into Paul himself who was a real piece of work!
