There was also a fellow john something out burnham way (vaguely) and I think you either loved or hated how he managed his kennels and dogs.

My uncle has had two in recent years and frankly I would have shot both of them because of this. Real bad.

Mine was the complete opposite 40kgs of uselessness . He got his arse kicked by a corgie one day . Mine also go car sick every time he traveled , and if he got a shock from an electric fence he would yelp continuos for 10 minutes (no bull shit).

I had a Curlie and she was Bloody awesome on both Upland Game and Ducks.

She worked well for my old man on deer too.

I got her off Colin James in Waipukarau in 1984.

Would love to have another dog just like her too.

Haven't seen a Curly Coat for Bloody years but have heard (unconfirmed) that there's a good hunting line in Wairoa.

Maybe @Toby could shed some light on this.

Good Luck with your search and let us know how you get on.

    Cheers

@Toby they look like a lab with a perm Even the fact that mine was a softie , looking back he must have retrieved a lot of ducks for me . He just didn't have any hunt drive
