    I just spent four days in the Kaimanawas. Wolf carried in his dog food for those four days. Worked out to be about 1.5kgs I think. I can see no reason for the dog not to carry it's food. It's certainly not hurting him at that weight. And also adds another training element. Anything that causes the dog to use it's brain seems like a good idea to me. Training the dog not to eat what's on it's shoulders. I expect some labs would have an enormous mental battle with that

    Yes Wire, I'm sure that it was a chinese hunk of crap that I got lumbered with. It REALLY did last only 10 minutes up the track into the bush before it came unstitched & fell to bits. ( AND a dozen wakatoo cans aren't THAT heavy, eh????)

    I have the supplier for the next one sorted at about $200 worth. The old story eh, ya gets wot ya pays for!!!!!
