I fillet the trout I catch and give the frame and skin to my lab, she loves it. Really makes her coat shiny

There are too many trout in Taupo. DOC encourages the taking of trout for that reason. In the streams from taupo to turangi you hear stories of fishermen saying exactly that... caught 30 fish ,all slabs.

as any one on here actually had success with koi carp as bait we tried it of Cape Karikari Kaitaia both berley and bait - this in an area that with a skipjack bait and berley or pilchards would have produced snapper but the koi-- bloody useless

    I’ll second this one.

Switched to mighty mix around 1 1/2 years ago now. Dog was struggling with weight fluctuating but that has levelled out now. Seems good quality and the 20kg bags last a Lab at least 6 weeks.

They have a range of concentrated foods too for when the dog is working hard.

Wouldn’t feed a dog tux personally. But then again didn’t give it too much of a chance.
