Thread: Doggo's Rations on a Long Hunt

I don't feed my dogs venison because I don't get any. I don't feed them venison because they get the shits real bad and their condition drops fast. Possum is good as well as a the odd bit of mutton. On trips away I feed Jazz a bit extra dri dog food and she does ok on it. She does love cooked wild pork, like I guess most dogs do.

I used to take those heavy dense possum dog rolls but now just high grade biscuits and shoot hares, rabbits, goats and possums, I don’t like feeding him too much venison as it scours him out.
