    English Pointer breeder recommendation

A friend of mine recently had to put down his english pointer, and he is now looking for a replacement pup. Is anyone able to provide any recommendations for breeders of english pointers? My friend hunts upland game and is based near Warkworth.

What was the point again....seems a bit pointless, unless ya chatting to a pointer who's learning how to point at what needs pointing at

Depends what sort of pointer you want? Is it a more show dog or pheasant dog? or a trout dog? which finds deer?or a pheasant , trout ,deer dog that also runs for hours on end. We got 2 of the latter breed. Dont get one if you are not prepared to exercise them a lot otherwise get a lab. Yeah they also chase down hares for exercise on the river bed which you can smoke with the 20g.They love river chickens.

Sorry that my post was so confusing. My friend has owned GSPs and English pointers and so is very familiar with their characteristics and exercise requirements and also owns a farm. Pheasants are upland game. Why would he want a lab, he already has a working lab and that dog requires a lot of exercise.
