    I just came back from Europe where I spent a bit of time with my dad flying the falcons.
    We had 4 nice flights with his female Ger/pilgrim on hare. But no catch. She broke a talon a few months ago and might be a bit gun shy.
    The other bird was launched after some crows, but they ended up into some safe bush before the falcon was onto them.

    If the NZ falconry permits extended to the NZ falcon I'd be in there like a shot. The harrier is the only one they currently allow sadly. Too slow
