Thread: Got the war department dog training

And she's loving it! Baby steps for all of them, but she was on the phone tonight and couldn't believe the progress she is making.
The future deer dog is learning to sit and the young whippet is learning to come. The whippet being high on the string takes a lot more but she's getting a real kick out of it and it makes for a much calmer GF, I'm on a win somehow!
The deer dog (Mocha) is a nice wee level headed thing, sleeps inside some of the time but is happy enough out on the chain too. Trying to get her used to any situation while keeping her quiet. Turns out one of the other pups is probably going to be used on deer as well as they have a good temperament.
The main reason the young whippet is home it trying to get weight on her, a bloody nightmare on the road as she has no food drive what so ever. But at a little over six-seven months old she smokes the rest of the team which takes some doing.
