    Bigger than the one I got.
    Thought I was lining up a hind, could just see it's head. On closer inspection it was a bit smaller than i expected.

    Great stag alright, we were in there Anzac Day and out following evening. Seen a nice stag ( looked to be an eight on the road at 10 .15 am. Nephew shot a nice 8 following morning and I missed a good looking stag an hour or so later. Plenty of territory calling going on day and night.Name:  20220426_082702.jpg

    Yeah, it would have been you, I was behind you at the intersection on SH1b where Telephone Road is closed and you have to take the detour.

    Are you a farrier by any chance?

    coat is reddish but head looks Sika. Never heard of reds around Clements. Least not in the last few years.
