    Jess

    Our labrador Jess has had a pup,don't know what sex yet was born last night,the dundee boys are excited.

    Well done to Jess. Mrs Dundee, are you sure that Jess doesn't have a few more surprises in store? I can imagine the boys are over the moon.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Rushy she's only had the 1 i think because she's a small lab.

    Her size wont effect her litter size... she probably only had one, but keep an eye on her just in case, they can hang on to one or two and it can kill them.

    Unusual for a young bitch to only have 1 pup ,though if its her 1st heat would explain it.

    Shadow was the only pup & then orphaned at 3-4 weeks .My 1st lab was a 1 of too but her mum was 13yrs.

    Its cute ive seen the little thing second one pup litter aye dundee? looking at her last night thats her only pup i reckon shes back to normal condition could be wrong though,happnd once before.

    Might pay to palpate the bitches abdomen, have a good feel around for a pup sized lump. Last thing you need is a pup still in there. If she still has a discharge in a few days time get her scanned, can lead to septicemia. Maybe she just throws one pup at a time if this is her second single whelp?

    Its all good Yeah just the one. Jess left her pup this evening and came for a run too get the cows in and went home when I started milking.She's a bloody good mum and is 9 now.

    Have too sort Mrs D out,oops I mean her camera so we can resize the pics.
