I lent my dog to a brother of my Uncle as at the time had work load on and she wasn't being utilised. Phoned and emailed him every couple of months to check up and see how she was going. How I found out was I called once again to check on her and he sounded strange but said she was goo and said that she was with his son as they shared the dogs as hunted together all the time then a week later saw a post on Facebook saying shed been sold months before by his son :-( Yes, definetly a good lesson. Never lend out dogs to anyone. Has been a crap lesson but shell pop up one day or info will pop up.
Yes isn't that true!
Best of luck, our neighbour lost two work dogs last year and have never been seen since.
