    Lost Dog Ruahine Range

Please keep an eye out for Maverick. He is male, 7yo chocolate lab, not neutered but is microchipped. Went missing in the bush around Woodville area/Ruahine Ranges between Loveday Road and Kiritaki hut on 16/04/2017.

He's a much loved, very special family pet and we would really like him back.

    Posting on behalf.

A farmer found him and has contacted the owner.

An old trick useful when you loose a dog is to leave an item of your clothing behind (a sweaty shirt is ideal) - either in the last place you were hanging around together but better is in the carpark - especially if the dog has been to this location before. The dog will often find its way back to where the car was parked - the dog will find your piece of clothing and then hang around there.
