So heres how it happened……. one of the locals up there found them last saturday, he pretty much lives bush and accesses his hut by rope up a recent slip, eddie the younger dog followed him up to go with him but when the old fella (king) couldn't make ed just went back down and sat with his buddy, it wasn't until this thursday when the guy came out of the he saw the flyer about the boys and the father inlaw was called, they'd got them self in an area somehow between the bluffs and the sea and we felt although it had been 5 days at that stage since they were last seen there was a reasonable chance they'd been stuck in that area.

i made plans to leave ch ch after work fri and expected to spend a couple of days bush in the area, although the reason grim i was looking forward to it…….. however ol colin (father in law had bigger plans..Name: 10991068_430595650439591_4416919486020369546_n.jpg

Dogs were found in the smallest bluffed bay and were lost the other side of the of the river in the background a decent swim and few k's travelled along gentle annie beach, went bush and who knows till they ended up there, the sea had them pinned in there though until a low low tide.

Neither had lost much condition, and every one is happy again.. opening week end is back on cos i don't think he could of brought himself to shoot without them………… and they better perform well for us this year cos they owe a few dollars for the chopper ride up and back from the grey valley!!

    cheers every one.

p.s my bush pass got cancelled and i'm back to nap pies and D.I.Y for the w/e oh well.
